Sara Gallant

Sara Gallant is a senior research associate in LaussenLabs research group. Her research focuses on measuring clinician cognitive load in the critical care environment as well as in relation to the integration of machine learning clinical support tools. Prior to joining LaussenLabs, Sara completed her postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles. At USC, she used neuroimaging and pupillometry to investigate how sympathetic nervous system activity and information load impacts selective attention and brain function in young and older adults. She completed her PhD in psychology, specializing in cognitive science, at Ryerson University in Toronto.
